Time Stranger Kyoko is a new(ish?) series by Tanemura Arina, who also did Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. I really, really, really love her artwork. I also like the series, after being introduced to it by Royal Slumber.

This is evidently the final cover. I haven't had time to check out the final bits of this series, but jeez, they're cute, even if I don't know the context. In the interest of not obscuring the cuteness, I left out many buttons. Click on her eyes for the eject and shuffle buttons, and on Sakataki's tie for loop. The flower petals on the equalizer are the on and auto buttons. And yes, it's SOOOO pink. I know. I'm sorry. This is why I don't make skins of couples more often: pink. |

Sorry about the boring title, but "I just got Eye Candy, isn't it COOL?" wouldn't have fit. ^_~ I really abused the glass filter here, but I like the results. For now. In a week, I'll probably hate it. It's a nice profile of him, and he's pretty, although I have to say Tanemura's men don't really hit me right in the hormones. Maybe it's because they actually look fifteen. I'm just so old... Um. Anyway. Premature midlife crises aside, it's a pretty good skin, I think. Enjoy! (Update: I still like it. I love this skin! So it's kind of busy, and the equalizer and playlist indicators are invisible, and the playlist is sort of iffy. Who cares? It's cute! And red! And Kyoko's wearing the cutest little magical-girl outfit ever! I really, really like this skin, and if it were a bit more technological looking I'd have named it "Circuits of Time," but it's not, so I didn't. Oh, that's the other thing, it has a boring title. I still love it. |

Argh. The image is really pretty, but I could not make the skin work out. Sigh. I named it "Brink of Time" after the Chrono Trigger jazz remix, and I kind of like the playlist, but that's about all that's good about this skin. Between editing out the text and multiple tries at skinning it, I spent way too much time on it to just trash it, but it's just not very good... |
