I finally got that final volume. Dude. I love this series so much. That is all I can safely allow myself to say. Enjoy the skins. Legato and some more Wolfwood can be found on the second page, and the third has M&M and Brilliant Dynamites Neon. ::scampers off to watch some more::

::insert obsessive slobbering over Vash here... or don't:: I made this skin on my parents' decrepit old Compaq, and it worried me a bit, because their monitor seems to be on the brink of death and it does some weird crap with colors. It also worried me because I thought PSP might crash the computer, but it didn't. So here's hoping the color scheme works for everyone. I finally broke away from either all-blue or all-grayscale backgrounds! Yay! I really love the skin. Again, I used an episode title for the skin title, and again, I used elements of the image for elements of the skin - in this case, buttons on his coat work as the shuffle, loop, and presets controls. They're visible when pressed.
Update: Added minibrowser and windowshaded eq, so the skin's as complete as it's going to be. Does anyone USE those? |

Another image from Up in Smoke, this time from the opening credits. Ain't he purty here? The bullet holes to the right of his head are the equalizer and playlist controls, if you need them. And I used the same control buttons as the ones in "Hang Fire" because I can. The title comes from the third episode, because I couldn't think of anything that fit. That's why it's two words rather than the usual one. I didn't even need to agonize over it much! Whee! (See, I DO like some of my skins. Just watch, everyone but me will hate this one.) |

Patented Lirillith everything-is-blue design! This one is either really cool or a terrible, terrible idea. I can't decide. The original image was a screencap from Up in Smoke, and all I really did was fiddle with the colors a little. The title comes from Wolfwood's line (in the dub, anyway...) about his cross. I left out all the titlebar buttons, and the equalizer and playlist toggles, because I thought it looked better without them. But I left in the shuffle and loop controls even though they're right on him. It doesn't make any sense to me, either. So, anyway. Kind of minimalist. Very blue. But it has Wolfwood, right? The positioning's a bit different from my usual - I wanted to get the cross in there. And the screencap, as usual, looks far worse than the skin. |

I'm still not sure I like all the slidebars, but overall it's an okay skin... Oh, who am I kidding? I would download something made in Skinner if it had Vash on it. It's sad. I need professional help. Um, anyway. Vash is, I'm pretty sure, manga-style, but the background comes from the closing credits. Of the anime, since, y'know, manga doesn't have credits like that. I hope you like it, since I can't judge with any sort of objectivity, and the cognitive dissonance is starting to make my head hurt. "It has Vash so I love it! But it's by me, so I hate it!" Uh, yeah. ::cough:: Also, ignore the screencrap; the real skin quality is better by far. |

As usual, the screencap looks worse than the skin. The skin itself kinda hurts me; my Vash deserves better. I HATE the playlist. However, I like the buttons, I like the font, and I like Vash. So I just use the skin with the playlist windowshaded, and I recommend you do the same. The title comes from one of the first Trigun episodes I saw, which would be in, uh, Volume 7 I think. And since I forbade myself to gush about Vash, I have very little else to say. Enjoy the skin! Or not, as you see fit. |
