The US release of the manga has effectively revived my interest in a series I first watched nearly seven years ago. At which point I was in college. God, I'm ancient.

The image is from the cover of one of the Yamaguchirow "Violently Happy" doujinshi, which are very short, sweet, and completely non-hentai. The title does not relate to any songs - I was kind of dismayed when I found out that it was a song (I was browsing AMVs at the time.)
You know, I used to have a problem with Tomoe, mostly because her fans emphasized her quiet, sweet, domestic perfection in contrast to Kaoru. The humorless OVA didn't help. Reading the manga, it instead becomes obvious that she's a sarcastic, journal-keeping introvert. Why did people try to act like she was Belldandy when she's actually awesome? I wasted years getting flamed when I could have liked her! |

This is such a nice image of him... I had the hardest time finding a version that was cropped correctly so as to let me make a skin of it. Why I didn't try to scan it myself I don't know, since I'm pretty sure it's in my anime artbook. But I found this, finally skinned it, and I'm very happy with the completed result.
Okay, so someday I'll make it up to you freaksome Battousai-preferrers and make a decent skin of his other look. For now, this is what you get. |
