The image is from a doujinshi scan, which I firmly believe to be the very cutest thing I've ever seen, in all senses of the word "cute." The background's a piece of origami paper, which seemed fitting from all the cranes lying around. And the title's from a Beatles song which likewise seemed fitting. Largely non-functional, sure, though better than my last skin of this pairing, but isn't it cute? |

I'd wanted to make a skin of this image for a long time, but it's not exactly an easy color scheme to work with... I'm pretty happy with the results here, but I guess it all depends on how much you like red. At one point this was one of the most-skinned pieces of RK art out there, but a lot of those sites seem to have dropped off the face of the earth.
I'm apparently getting attached to this series all over again. I blame the US release of the manga. Damn you, Viz! |

Okay, here's your Battousai. Circa the movie, I guess, since he's got the cross scar but he also still has his hair in the high ponytail. And he's drawn anime-style - the image came from my 2000 calendar, which also included one of the few known instances of the anime-style Tomoe (as opposed to OVA-style, not manga). This is a SERIOUS case of skin-looking-better-than-screencap. Owing to the eccentricities of my skinning method, it also looks a bit odd when at rest, but it's perfectly fine when in use, which I assume is how most people are going to see it most of the time. |

Another non-Battousai skin of Kenshin. I know I'm the only one who likes these, but I can't make this all about your needs all the time. It's... so very red. Well, orange. Blinding, whatever it is. The idea was, you know, sunset... It's based on the cover of the final manga volume. (Kaoru's visible in the background of the real skin, though you can't really tell in the screencap.) So it's almost a K&K-shippy thing? I don't know. My skinning's all out of whack lately. Enjoy, if you really really like red and orange. |

Eventually, I reached a point where I couldn't ignore all the begging and hinting. So here it is. It matches Tomoe's "Sound of Snow Falling" almost perfectly, though I do think Tomoe's is better. Enishi's background came from a piece of Chinese, rather than Japanese, art, which is kind of fitting. The title comes from a piece of BGM which has nothing to do with Enishi, but which fit the skin. Yay. |
