This is where I stick the only skin from a given series... a second one will get the series/game/artist/whatever a page of its own. Most of these are probably here to stay.

Robin, the title character from Witch Hunter Robin. I like the character, I like fire, and despite my misgivings about the playlist, I like the skin. I like the series, too, but I'm still waiting for plot as of the second volume. Any day now, guys... |

I've never played any of the recent Castlevania games (the ones made since they started looking So Damn Cool.) I think I played part of one of them on the NES, back when the earth's crust had not yet fully cooled, and they were still using Belmonts and what-all. I keep saying I'll play Symphony of the Night someday. And I will. Someday.
The skin's almost completely non-functional, and, objectively speaking, it sucks, but I like it anyway. |

I've never known if the Arislan characters were designed by Amano. On the one hand, you have the hair, the costuming, and the shape of the eyes. On the other hand, the noses and the lack of black lipstick. I don't know, but I lean towards the not-Amano school of thought - they're just not pale enough. This image is a triumph of editing and a failure of skinning. The original was horrible quality - I fixed that up nicely, I think, and then proceeded to ruin it with a TERRIBLE skinning job. Especially the playlist. Blargh. It at least looks better when windowshaded. Usage notes... the gem on his forehead is the eject button. Shuffle and loop are invisible, the equalizer and playlist buttons appear only when unpressed. |

Horrible skincap, real skin looks better. I will spare you the fangirlish train of thought that led to titling this skin "Body Makes Steam." The song's by Two-Mix, they seem to do lots of Gundam Wing music, and that's about as much as you probably want or need to know. I don't actually watch this series - when I could have gotten fansubs I was being all snobbish about mecha, and then by the time I heard about the bishounen it was headed for Cartoon Network. I watched about one episode dubbed. It didn't really appeal to me, probably because it had no Zechs, or if it had him he was wearing a silly-looking bird mask. Gads, why do people like the little fifteen-year-olds when there's a man like THIS around? |

For some reason, I refuse to do American comic skins in color. For the Death skin, that was just what the image was like; in this one, the colors were ugly, so I made it grayscale. The skin's pretty decent, everything works and so forth. Download this skin in memory of Pete Wisdom, who was way too cool for the X-Men or even Excalibur. He and Pryde were great together, until Warren Ellis left the series and his successor realized that Wisdom was cool and we couldn't have THAT in an X-title, so he broke them up and wrote the poor guy out. Because, you know, if there were any INTERESTING couples going on, people might realize that Rogue and Gambit or Cyclops and Jean have no chemistry whatsoever... -_- Why do I still have such strong feelings about comics I haven't read in a good four years? Anyway. It's got Wisdom, so it kicks ass, as did he. It also has Kitty, who was at her best during the Warren Ellis issues (when she was with Wisdom... what a coincidence, huh?) And it's certainly not going to blind you with color. |
