It's difficult to conceive of ways for this series to kick more ass. It may actually be impossible.

Hey, check it out! Actual color! I like this one - the screencap's pretty much crap, more than usual, but the skin itself looks fine and makes me happy. The title was borrowed from a song by Citizen Cope because, like, hands. I may have been impaired on cold medication at the time. It seems likely. |

...I swear, I'll get back to making decent skins someday. I don't know... I was afraid this would turn out to be hideous, and it dodged that bullet, but I'm still not enthusiastic. It's just so beige. |

The skin's a bit of a mess, but I guess I needed to get it out of my system. Or something. Er, why don't you just scroll down past it and download the Kirika skin instead? If I explained anything about this - context, where it falls in the series, why I selected the title - it might count as a spoiler, but since I'm not, it's not. |

Angst and guns. That doesn't actually sum Kirika up in a nutshell, but it's a decent introduction. It's a bit weird seeing her in the school uniform, since I don't remember her ever wearing that again after the first episode, but I'm not going to turn up my nose at any kind of hi-res artwork. I got this from a wallpaper from Project Noir, ADV's official, if a bit out-of-date, site for the series. |

The title came from a graphic novel (featuring another f/f relationship) by Lea Hernandez, who kicks ass. I actually thought of the title after noticing the clockwork theme in the lyrics of the opening song, and pretty much created the entire skin off of that. It's very simple, but that was deliberate for once and I really like the results, despite the non-functioning equalizer. |
