This was the second or third anime I ever watched. I'd forgotten how much I loved it... The TV anime is taking me some getting used to, I have to say. A lot of getting used to. But I still love the OVA, dated animation (or lack thereof) and all. I'm not actually just a crazed Parn/Deed 'shipper, but those were the two images that really lent themselves to skinning...

I've used the title (taken from an RK image song) before, but the title - and the song itself - fit this image so perfectly that I had to recycle it. It's fairly non-functional, and the playlist sucks on toast, but for some reason I kind of like it anyway. The reason might be "stunned by the ugliness of the green." I don't know. |

This'd be my winter-holiday skin. The title comes from a Heather Nova song, though the skin itself shades toward purple. I assume, since the filename on the original image was "newlod34," that it's for the TV series rather than the somewhat aged OVA. I have no idea what difference it makes, since I'm only familiar with the OVA, which was, I think, my second anime... meh, you don't want to hear about how we used to hunt wooly mammoths with flint-tipped spears and trade their hides for VHS fansubs. (Though Lodoss was already licensed at that time...) |
