Well, THIS is an old one. I don't think I even still have the base image, and some of the design things go WAY back - if I had it to do over Kaji wouldn't be so smooshed up at the top, but I saved and merged layers and everything back before I knew any better. Damn. It's a manga scan, semi-obviously, featuring... yep, my favorite couple. Shinji and Kaworu are cute and all, but I just love Misato and Kaji together. Very purple, and titled after a song by Duran Duran that, to my everlasting shame, I really like. |

And, as promised, Kaworu, even if he is looking a bit cramped amongst all those skin elements. Also note the itty-bitty Shinji charm hanging off the end of the violin, at the bottom of the equalizer (or click here for a closeup.) Awww. I'm woman enough to admit that I squealed like a fangirl when I noticed that. The image came from Electronic Renaissance, and the title comes from the piece of music he's humming when he meets Shinji. So that makes it their song, I guess. Awww! (Oh, shut up, I'm allowed to be like this sometimes.) |

Oh my God, she's having a facial expression! This image is thoroughly weird and out of character for Rei. Maybe there was some sort of body-switch with Asuka. Except she doesn't look cranky. Maybe it was a body-switch with Belldandy? It's weird and out of character for the whole series, come to think of it. Cherry blossoms? Smiling? This is not Eva. It's a dating sim.
Skin has a minibrowser, and for once I made it right off the bat instead of adding it later. |
